PHOTOGRAPHER

Trevor Clark was one of the
"swinging sixties" photographers in London at that magic time characterised
in Antonioni's film "Blow Up". From his studio in Soho, Trevor did hundreds
of fashion and advertising shoots featuring all the top models of the
moment. He was also shooting studio portraits of all the up and coming
pop/rock stars of the early sixties. These bands - on the cusp of worldwide
fame - were captured in Trevor's Soho studio - in their freshness - just
before they hit the publicity rollercoaster.
Soon after this period Trevor moved to the sunny island of Mallorca in the Mediterranean to specialise in shooting advertising campaigns in exotic locations.
He recently unearthed his archive of sixties pop/rock portraits - including these of the Beatles and Stones - all taken during 1963. None of these photographs have been seen for over 40 years.
Trevor still lives happily on Mallorca and continues to photograph on location around the Mediterranean - with the "swinging sixties" just a distant memory.
